Giving Back in Support of Our Neighbors
Last weekend, Kenworth Northeast’s hometown of Buffalo, NY suffered a tragic and unconscionable loss at the hands of a gunman who chose to take 10 lives and wound three others. In addition to the physical wounds, the community has been scarred by this senseless act of violence. Our hearts weigh heavy with sadness for the families, friends, and community members affected by the shootings.
Racism, hatred, and bigotry have no place in our community. At Kenworth Northeast, we embrace diversity in all of its forms. Our differences make us stronger, they make us better – as individuals, as businesses, and as a community. We are proud to call Buffalo, NY home and stand with those who would see it thrive and prosper in the strength of our differences, not despite them.
In memory of those who were lost and in an effort to help those impacted by this terrible act of violence, Kenworth Northeast is donating $10,000 to the Buffalo Survivors Fund, established by Tops, in partnership with the National Compassion Fund.
