Kenworth Northeast, a heavy-duty truck dealership with locations serving New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island has opened its 10th location in Smithfield, RI, bringing the Kenworth brand and heavy-duty trucking services to the state for the first time. The new facility is located at 170 Washington Hwy.
With the opening of the Smithfield, RI location, Kenworth Northeast is positioned to serve customers in the area with local access to truck sales, truck parts inventory, parts delivery, on-site premiere truck service, mobile service, and more. The store will celebrate the opening with an Open House event on July 24, 2025 from 11 AM to 2 PM, including a cookout lunch, raffles, giveaways, and vendor participation.
The dealership is excited to create jobs in the area for Diesel Technicians, Delivery Drivers, and Parts Counter staff in the coming year. “We look forward to building on existing customer relationships and creating new ones,” says Herron. “We believe customers will appreciate the increased access to trucks, parts, and service paired with the exceptional customer experience we are committed to providing.”
